The Manor is a non-denominational boarding house for independent Seniors.  Nestled in the heart of the Village of Skaneateles, it is within easy walking distance to all amenities, shops and numerous restaurants.

The cook/house manager does the shopping and meal preparations. Our peaceful setting at 49 W. Genesee Street offers all the advantages of a small, quiet community.

Each of our six private suites has a sitting room, bedroom and private bath. Residents may choose to bring their own furniture or we can provide it. Hook-ups for cable TV and phone are standard. Shared living space includes the parlor, living room, dining room and laundry facilities. Front and side porches provide lovely places to sit and relax, read or visit with friends. The house manager/cook is on daytime duty.

Everything Skaneateles has to offer is within easy walking distance: banking, Post Office, library, shopping, restaurants and churches. At the village center are the beautiful lakeside parks framing the north shore of magnificent Skaneateles Lake. With a six-mile view down the lake, this lovely area is enjoyed by the community year round. Stroll along the pier, relax on a park bench to read a favorite book in the shade or take in the gorgeous lake view. You might even venture farther and leisurely walk our picturesque tree-lined neighborhoods.

We have just the place for you.  Three invitingly comfortable suites are ready and waiting to be furnished with your own personal items. Healthy fresh meals will be prepared for you by the cook. Eat with the other residents at the dining room table. Share the living room or chat with your friends in the privacy of your own sitting room.  The Manor is located only a few steps away from the famous Krebs restaurant which may be re-opening soon.
